A. Blake Cooper is an associate in Barnes and Thornburg LLP's Indianapolis office and a member of the firm's Corporate Department.
Mr. Cooper advises public and private companies on M&A, securities, corporate governance and commercial matters. Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, he represented various large and mid-cap companies, including Fortune 500 companies, in various international and domestic mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, with a focus on the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Mr. Cooper speaks Japanese and has counseled Japanese and domestic companies in cross-border transactions in Asia and the U.S.
Mr. Cooper received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2006, where he was an Oliver Ellsworth Scholar and editor of the Connecticut Law Review. Mr. Cooper received his B.A. from Seton Hall University in 2002.
Mr. Cooper is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
