| Biography | Aaron C. Schlesinger is a partner in Peckar & Abramson's Labor Relations and Employment Law Department. Mr. Schlesinger represents and counsels employers on a wide range of labor and employment issues such as labor contract administration, collective bargaining agreement negotiations, unfair labor practice cases, discrimination, harassment, terminations, layoffs, reasonable accommodations for disabled employees, investigation of employee complaints, application of state and federal family and medical leave acts, interpretation of wage and hour laws and in the rendering of day-to-day advice as needed. He practices extensively before Federal and State Courts as well as Federal and State Agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board, the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights and the New Jersey State Division on Civil Rights. Mr. Schlesinger represents clients in a variety of industries including construction, hotel and restaurant, health care, document imaging equipment and health and beauty aids. Mr. Schlesinger received his Juris Doctorate degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University. He is admitted to the practice of law in the states of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the New York and New Jersey State Bar Associations. |
