Prior to joining the firm, Adam Braun represented Governor Quinn and his administration at the Office of the Governor of Illinois, where he assisted with issues related to gaming, lottery, procurement, economic development, health care, and the state constitution. Adam represented the Office of the Governor before the Illinois General Assembly during gaming expansion discussions, the lottery management agreement, recent overhauls of the Illinois Procurement Code, the development of Illinois Jobs Now!, the state's $31 billion capital construction program, and recent landmark reforms to the Illinois workers compensation system. He also counseled the Governor on all issues before the Illinois General Assembly, and coordinated gubernatorial action on more than 1,200 pieces of legislation.

Previous Employment Adam served in numerous roles within the Illinois state government, including Staff Attorney in the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer, and Legal Counsel, Legislative Counsel, and Deputy Legislative Director in the Office of the Governor. He also worked for numerous state and local political campaigns.
