Adelman Law Office, P.C.

The Adelman Law Office, P.C., established in 1992, is a boutique firm devoted to all aspects of domestic relations law. Ms. Adelman, a certified specialist in family law, Arizona Board of Legal Specialization, practices in all aspects of domestic relations law and places particular emphasis on complex child custody litigation and the establishment, enforcement and modification of child support. She has actively served as a family law Judge Pro Tem in the Maricopa County Superior Court since 1993. In addition, she regularly accepts appointments to perform Settlement Conference Judge and Mediator Services in Maricopa County family law actions. She has been a frequent faculty presenter on a variety of family law related issues at continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the State Bar of Arizona, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and a variety of other national and local law-related organizations. Ms. Adelman was honored by inclusion in the 2007 edition of "Southwest Superlawyers" and was additionally honored by inclusion of her biography in Feminists Who Changed America 1963-1975 released in late 2006 and published by the University of Illinois Press.

Associate attorney Sonya Underwood, licensed in both Arizona and California. obtained her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and focuses her practice in the areas of civil litigation, criminal defense, bankruptcy as well as family law. Her practice also includes complex multi-jurisdictional issues involving minor children and parental rights.
