Background
Adrian Liu is an associate at our Toronto office. Adrian was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2006. She obtained her LL.M. from Columbia University in 2007 and her J.D. from the University of Toronto in 2005.
Prior to that, Adrian graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and was awarded the Medal in Psychology. She is fluent in spoken Cantonese.
Areas of Practice
ˇ Adrian's practice covers a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including private mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and various commercial agreements.
ˇ She has expertise in consumer protection laws, including advertising, leasing and credit card regulations, as well as packaging and labelling regulations.
ˇ Adrian has experience with international aircraft financings and Canadian aviation regulations.
ˇ She also has experience helping clients develop rooftop solar energy projects under Ontario's innovative Feed-In Tariff (FIT) Program.
ˇ She regularly advises U.S. and foreign companies on doing business in Canada.
