Ms. Sevilla is an associate in the Firm's Litigation and Class Action Defense groups. Ms. Sevilla has defended banks, mortgage lenders, and related entities in individual and consumer class actions brought in state and federal courts, including claims under Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Truth in Lending Act, and state consumer protection statutes.
Ms. Sevilla was awarded her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law, cum laude, in 2010, where she received CALI awards for Civil Procedure and Law of Risk Management. While at Loyola, Ms. Sevilla was a member of the Annals of Health Law. Ms. Sevilla received a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Comparative Literature with high honors from the University of Michigan in 2006.
Prior to her summer associate position at the Firm in 2009, Ms. Sevilla completed internships for The Honorable Ruben Castillo in the Northern District of Illinois as well as at the Office of Legal Affairs at Resurrection Health Care. Before attending law school, Ms. Sevilla volunteered in Zimbabwe with ALERT, an organization dedicated to sustaining the lion population throughout Africa.
