Alaine Doolan is a member of the firm's Business Section, primarily practicing in the areas of intellectual property, technology law, and brand management. Ms. Doolan's focus is on the protection of corporate brands, with an emphasis on the prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement of intellectual property, including trademarks and copyrights as well as policing and enforcement, advertising and packaging review, anticounterfeiting, and social media. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Doolan managed 4,000+ worldwide trademark portfolios for two large consumer products companies.
As part of her brand management work, Ms. Doolan counsels and advises clients on matters related to print, digital, and mobile advertising; intellectual property protection and enforcement; and federal and state regulatory compliance issues, including compliance with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act's labeling requirements and various Federal Trade Commission regulations.
