Stephen MacLean is a trial attorney who has worked with the firm since 1997. In addition to his trial experience, Stephen has appeared frequently before the California Court of Appeals. Before attending law school, Stephen worked for two decades in the medical industry, including 14 years at Stanford University Medical Center as a life support technician and respiratory therapy supervisor. Stephen understands the complicated medical issues involved in the personal injury and medical malpractice fields of law.
Courtney Cassinelli is a new Mom and trial attorney specializing in personal injury law, and has served as our Practice Manager since 2006. A native San Franciscan, she holds a B.A. in History from Loyola Marymount University and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. With experience as both a successful trial lawyer and effective negotiator, Courtney strives to get clients the best possible results in the fastest possible time, through mediations and arbitrations as well as jury trials. She is currently a member of both the American Bar Association and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. In addition to representing clients in dozens of successful arbitrations, since 2006 Courtney has served as lead counsel on three jury trials. She has also taught a course in "Street Law" to students at Lincoln High School in San Francisco.
