| Biography | Alex is a member of the firm's Financial Services Litigation and Business Litigation practice groups. Alex has experience representing and advising clients in a wide variety of matters in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on complex litigation, commercial real estate litigation, and banking litigation. She has litigated various commercial and business disputes involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, tortious interference, and other claims. She has also litigated property tax appeals as well as commercial lease disputes ranging from real estate dispossessory actions to multi-party breach of contract actions. Alex has additional experience with environmental litigation and pharmaceutical litigation.
Representative Experience
Represents national and regional banks and mortgage servicing companies in defense of RESPA, FDCPA, TILA, and wrongful foreclosure claims brought in Georgia state and federal courts, frequently managing workouts and obtaining summary judgment for clients.
Represents a mentally disabled U.S. citizen on a pro bono basis in civil rights actions involving the client's wrongful and illegal detention and deportation to Mexico.
Represents national property management company in numerous commercial lease disputes ranging from real estate dispossessory actions to multi-party breach of contract and business tort litigation.
Represents real estate investment trust and investment companies in multi-million dollar tax appeal litigation.
