Ali N. Marchant

Ali Marchant was born in Watonga, Oklahoma in 1975. She attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with an emphasis in Business Communications. She received her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law, cum laude, in December, 2006. While at Washburn, Ms. Marchant was a member of the Washburn Law Journal and authored Bargaining for Freedom: Kansas Allows Criminal Defendants to Avoid Plea Agreement Sentences but Binds the State to Its Deals [State v. Boley, 113 P.3d 248 (Kan. 2005)], 45 Washburn L.J. 467 (2006). Ms. Marchant joined Fleeson, Gooing, Coulson & Kitch, LLC in 2007 and practices primarily in the area of litigation and workers compensation. She is a member of the Wichita Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association and Kansas Association of Defense Counsel. She is also involved in the Wichita Bar Association Young Lawyers Association and the Wichita Women Attorneys Association.
