The firm, which was established in Nazareth, Palestine, in 1921 by the late Sharif Ali Zu'bi, is a leading Jordanian law firm with substantial international practice. In 2003, the firm expanded its practice areas by the formation of an Iraq Practice Group to assist clients in developing business opportunities in the dynamic and uncertain markets emerging in Iraq. The firm utilizes the expertise of local Iraqi lawyers on the ground in Iraq to provide clients with informed advice in exploring business opportunities in the country.
In November, 2007, Sharif Ali Zu'bi, a former Minister of Industry & Trade and former Minister of Justice, rejoined the firm as its senior partner, and was replaced as Minister of Justice by former partner Aiman Odeh.
