During the course of her career, Alisa has assisted clients with a broad range of issues, including:

· Obtaining successful verdicts or summary disposition in actions asserting breach of contract, negligence, fraud, non-compete, premises liability, declaratory judgment, insurance coverage, agency, zoning, land use, landlord/tenant, commercial and residential mortgage foreclosures, property assessment appeals, eminent domain, receiverships, easements, quiet title, ejectment, title insurance and title claims, oil & gas leasing, land transfer and finance

· Representing landowners and development companies in oil and gas lease preparation and negotiation, land acquisition and transfer, title review, pipeline rights of way, easements and compensation for structures ancillary to operations and transportation

· Representing clients in litigation involving oil and gas leasing, title defense, title claims, quiet title actions, land transfer and finance, surface coal permits, subsurface ownership rights

· Representing property owners, developers, general contractors and subcontractors in breach of contract, negligence, mechanics' lien, prevailing wage, ADA Title III access, and contractor and subcontractor payment claims

· Drafting and enforcement of employment, non-compete and severance contracts, counseling in the areas of employee hiring, management, statutory compliance and discharge and defense and prosecution of claims before federal and state administrative agencies and courts including: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Americans with Disabilities Act, The Age Discrimination in Employment Act, The Fair Labor Standards Act, The Family and Medical Leave Act, The Equal Pay Act and unemployment compensation

· Serving as a settlement officer for several hundred commercial and residential real estate transactions

· Extensive experience appearing before federal and state appellate courts
