Alison H. Hong is an Associate in the San Francisco, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents public and private sector management at both the state and federal level in a broad range of employment law matters, including wage and hour issues and claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination.
Ms. Hong's practice encompasses individual as well as class action suits. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Hong was an Associate at a defense litigation firm where she managed her own caseload and gained extensive experience in motion practice and discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
While attending law school, Ms. Hong served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Peter Busch and the Honorable Patrick J. Mahoney in the Law and Motion Department of the San Francisco Superior Court. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Phyllis J. Hamilton of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Ms. Hong participated in the U.C. Hastings Civil Justice Clinic where she represented a low-income client in a California Department of Labor Standards Enforcement appeal involving claims for unpaid wages and meal and rest period violations. She received the Outstanding Fieldwork Award and the Witkin and CALI Award for Academic Excellence for her fieldwork and coursework at the Civil Justice Clinic. She also received the Witkin and CALI Award for Academic Excellence for her coursework in Intellectual Property Trade Secrets.
