Her experience includes appearing as counsel before the courts at all levels, as well as before collective agreement arbitrators, and labour relations and human rights tribunals. Additionally, she has adjudicated collective agreement arbitration disputes, employment standards complaints, workers compensation appeals and professional disciplinary complaints. Ms. Narod provides legal advice to employer groups and individuals in both the Federal and Provincial sectors. Recently, she has provided advice on the implications of reorganizations, mergers and consolidations on labour relations; collective bargaining strategies and related litigation; disciplinary and dismissal disputes and wrongful dismissal matters; alternate dispute resolution procedures; unfair labour practice complaints; employment issues and liabilities arising in sales and purchases of businesses and employment contracts. Ms. Narod is Disciplinary Panel Chair for Market Regulation Services Inc. (RS). She is a member of the Community Care and Assisted Living Appeal Board. She is a Director of ACT Autism Community Training Society. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch). Ms. Narod is a former Adjudicator on the Employment Standards Tribunal. She is a former member of the board of governors of Royal Roads University and the Vancouver Stock Exchange. She is a former Disciplinary Panel Chair for the Vancouver Stock Exchange, the Canadian Venture Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange. She is a former member of the board of directors of the Autism Society of British Columbia, as well as a former member of various other committees of the Canadian Bar Association (B.C. Branch), including former co-chair of the Member Dispute Resolution Task Force and former member of the Dispute Resolution Committee.
