Ali has represented clients in the firm's Environmental, Water & Natural Resources Department, Records & Information Management Department and Real Estate & Development Department since 2005. She has helped numerous companies address the environmental issues surrounding business and property transactions by performing due diligence reviews of environmental records, assisting with the transfer of required permits, evaluating liability for pre-existing contamination and drafting purchase and sale contracts. Ali has also helped clients maintain compliance with permitting and reporting requirements under various state and federal environmental laws, prepared retention schedules for environmental records and assisted with CERCLA cost recovery and contribution actions, permit and enforcement defense and other litigation.
