About this office: Alister Avocats is the result of the regrouping in January and October 2009 of the law firm Alexen Avocats with several regional French law firms: EIDJ (Lyons), ISGE (Paris), BBLM & Associés (Marseilles and Aix-en-Provence), Pommier Cohen & Associés (Nice), CGCB (Montpellier, Bordeaux, Paris and Marseilles) and SP International (Strasbourg). Alister Avocats comprises some 120 attorneys and a total staff of 200. Due to the historical presence of these various regional law firms, Alister Avocats has a strong nationwide practice, being present in all major French economic centers. Alister Avocats is organized into practice groups which cover the entire spectrum of legal, judicial and tax specialties. The Firm regularly advises foreign companies, more particularly European, North American and Japanese companies doing business in FRANCE as well as French companies and individuals doing business abroad.
