Allisen Pawlenty-Altman focuses her practice on domestic and international trademark counseling, portfolio management and enforcement matters. She helps clients assess the availability of trademarks for use and registration, develop and implement complex trademark protection strategies, monitor and enforce trademark rights, and negotiate and draft trademark consent and coexistence agreements. Ms. Pawlenty-Altman has particular experience in foreign trademark matters and regularly advises clients on international portfolio strategy and management.

International prosecution and clearance, Manage a significant volume of international prosecution and clearance work, which enables us to partner with international associates and build a comprehensive base of knowledge from which we can provide expert, seasoned advice on a full range of non-contentious trademark matters globally. We recently have undertaken international filing protection analyses and filing programs for a number of clients, including a global environmental consulting firm and related recreational industries.
Trademark litigation and portfolio management for a non-profit housing organization, Represent a non-profit housing organization's domestic and international trademark portfolio, including domestic and international oppositions and cancellations for the non-profit organization. We have also provided counsel regarding potential trademark litigation. Specifically, we secured a favorable settlement in a case that centered on a declaratory judgment action seeking to invalidate the non-profit's mark.
Brand development and brand protection, Performs not only trademark clearance and application work, but also domestic and international policing, anticounterfeiting, franchising, licensing, and transactional work for a host of clients from various industries.
Trademark recordal projects for several large corporate entities, Represented various entities in complex, multi-stage recordal projects in order to update ownership records for thousands of marks in a large number of countries. We also have managed negotiations of worldwide coexistence agreements and complex international licensing arrangements.
