Allison represents clients in the energy industry on a variety of regulatory and administrative issues. Her energy practice includes proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and assisting clients in preparation for merger filings, rate case proceedings and enforcement investigations.
Allison serves as Secretary to the Board of the Brady Campaign and Center to Prevent Gun Violence, having been elected to a two year term in June 2011. She also maintains an active pro bono practice and serves as a volunteer attorney to the Superior Court of DC's Family Court Self-Help Center and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).

Represented a Midwest Transmission Owner on FERC compliance issues focusing on transmission service and related FERC-jurisdictional agreements.
Supported clients of the Federal Regulation of Energy and Gas (FREG) practice in understanding the implications of and beginning compliance plans for Order No. 1000.
Worked in the Natural Gas Industry including work with Pipeline Rates.
Active participant on behalf of the US Partnership for Renewable Energy Finance (US PREF).
Represents the Business Software Alliance in licensing disputes.
