| Biography | Allison D. Michael focuses her practice in the area of labor and employment law. She assists clients in resolving issues arising out of the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and Federal and Ohio laws on age, sex, race, national origin and retaliation discrimination. Allison also has a solid litigation background. She has defended employers in Ohio state and federal courts, as well as in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC), and the Department of Labor. Allison has been named an Ohio Rising Star by Law & Politics magazine three times and featured in the August 2007, January 2009, and January 2010 issues of Cincinnati Magazine and Ohio Super Lawyers - Rising Star Edition. Ohio Rising Stars are nominated by Law & Politics' Ohio Super Lawyers as up-and-coming attorneys who are age 40 or younger, or have been in practice no more than ten years. Only 2.5 percent of Ohio lawyers received this honor. |
