For hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country, Ally Harper provides responsive and personal assistance on healthcare regulatory issues. From day-to-day operational matters, to Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, to licensure filings related to change of ownership, Ally provides advice and counsel on a broad spectrum of matters. Ally also advises clients on compliance issues related to federal and state anti-kickback regulations, self-referral prohibitions, and the corporate practice of medicine.
Before transitioning her practice to a regulatory and compliance focus, clients relied on Ally for healthcare transactional matters. Upon joining Waller in 2007, Ally focused on the acquisition of acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities and the formation of physician joint ventures, as well as securities work for both public and private healthcare companies.
This blend of corporate and regulatory experience gives her a valuable perspective with respect to the impact and priority of regulatory issues in the context of transactional due diligence.
