Ms. Gomez has experience in a wide variety of complex matters and industries. Specifically, she has represented clients in the oil and gas industry, handling several issues including general contractual disputes, indemnification, royalty disputes, trespass, and conversion. She most recently assisted with the successful litigation of an overriding royalty interest dispute.
In addition, she also has a wide array of business litigation experience, including litigating breach of contract and damages disputes, breach of warranty, breach of fiduciary duty, negligent misrepresentation, and fraud in connection with commercial transactions.
Ms. Gomez has also represented clients in complicated premises liability and product liability actions. For example, she has been regularly retained by commercial property owners and managers in premises liability cases involving multiple parties and extensive personal injury. She has also represented manufacturers and suppliers in the defense of claims involving manufacturing defects and failure to warn allegations.
Ms. Gomez also practices labor and employment law, defending age, sex and racial discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims. She assists employers with enforcing post-employment covenants, such as those regarding trade secrets, competition, and solicitation of customers and employees.
