Amanda A. Neidert's practice focuses on environmental matters, including regulatory compliance and permitting, environmental and toxic tort litigation, and transaction-related issues. She counsels clients on complex regulatory compliance issues, with an emphasis on Clean Water Act, industrial discharge and stormwater permitting, and wetlands matters. Representative clients include manufacturers, transporters, real estate developers, financial institutions and individuals. In addition, Amanda has represented a wide variety of defendants in asbestos personal injury, toxic tort and products liability claims.
Amanda also represents students with disabilities in need of appropriate educational programming under state and federal special education laws.
Amanda is an honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law where she served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy and as a member of the Moot Court Board.
