| Additional Bio Details | Ms. Knapp's practice is focused in the area of business and commercial litigation. She practices routinely before both state and federal courts, handling a variety of matters that include contract and tort disputes, constitutional and statutory challenges, environmental cleanup actions, commercial tenancies, and other complex matters. She has previous litigation experience defending a local municipality in state and federal court against constitutional claims, tort claims, and workers compensation appeals. She also has extensive experience with the federal court system, having served twice as a Federal District Court Law Clerk.
Ms. Knapp has prior legal experience as counsel to the California State Senate Judiciary Committee, where she advised the Chair of the Judiciary Committee and other state senators regarding proposed laws which related to the following areas: civil procedure, law and technology, privacy, eminent domain, real estate, environmental concerns, and constitutional issues. |
