Practice Area And Professional Expertise
· Ms. Quan joined the Firm as an Associate in 2010, after serving as a Summer Associate and Law Clerk in the Akron office for over 2 years.
· Ms. Quan's practice is primarily focused on litigation. She provides legal assistance to clients by analyzing and researching various legal issues, drafting pleadings, discovery requests and motions, and assisting in preparations for trial.
· Prior to joining Buckingham, Ms. Quan served as a summer intern for the United Nations in New York (Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Global Alliance for Information and Communication Technologies and Development Secretariat).
· During law school, Ms. Quan was an Advocate on The University of Akron Law School's nationally-ranked Mock Trial Team (2008-2010) and an Intern for the Trial Litigation Clinic (2009-2010). As an Intern, Ms. Quan had the opportunity to represent a criminal defendant in her first full trial before Judge Larson of the Akron Municipal Court. Ms. Quan also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Trade Secrets and Legal Drafting, and the Women in Higher Education Outstanding Woman Student Award.
