Amy DeCloux, Ph.D., is an Associate whose practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications securing claims in the fields of immunology, cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry and medical devices. She also assists in the preparation of patentability, infringement and freedom to operate analyses. She is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has argued in front of the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences at the USPTO.

· Amy is a co-author of articles published in several scientific journals including Nature, Cell, Nature Medicine, Immunological Reviews, Journal of Immunology, Genetics, Journal of Bacteriology and Cell Differentiation.
· Amy has presented talks at several meetings including a presentation at The Ninth International Conference of Immunology and abstracts at FASEB.

Before Edwards Wildman
Prior to joining the Firm, Amy was a Patent Examiner for over four years in Art Unit 1644 covering areas including Immunology, Receptor/Ligands, Cytokines, and Molecular Biology.
Amy also was a Faculty Research Associate following a NIH funded Post-Doctoral fellowship in the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, where her research focused on T cell immunology. She has worked and published with Nobel laureate Susumu Tonegawa at M.I.T. She received a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland at College Park, and a B.A. in Biology from Wesleyan University.
