Amy is an associate in the Casualty Department, where she devotes her practice to the defense of commercial transportation, premises liability, and automobile liability claims in state and federal court. She defends clients on a wide array of matters, including claims involving catastrophic injury and death. Amy has obtained summary judgments on behalf of her clients, successfully defended matters at arbitration, and provided extensive trial assistance for cases in Philadelphia, its surrounding counties, and federal court.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Amy served as a law clerk in Pittsburgh to the Honorable Max Baer, Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. During her clerkship, Amy was responsible for drafting judicial opinions and reviewing petitions for allowance of appeal.
Amy attended Villanova University on a merit-based scholarship and earned her undergraduate degree in 2006, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of the Villanova Honors Program. She graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2011. During law school, she was Topics Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review.
