Amy concentrates her practice on labor and employment law. She has successfully represented employers in administrative agency proceedings and in state and federal court lawsuits across the nation; she has defended employment-related class actions on behalf of employers with facilities nationwide. In addition, Amy has obtained summary judgment on behalf of employers in harassment, disability, age, race, gender, retaliation, FMLA, and EPA lawsuits and has handled successful appeals before the U.S. Courts of Appeal, Eighth and Tenth Circuits.
Other aspects of Amy's practice include day-to-day counseling of employers about human resources issues; conducting human resources audits, policy reviews and training sessions on effectively managing employees; and drafting and litigating non-competition, non-solicitation, confidentiality and executive employment agreements.
In law school, Amy received the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor & Employment Law.
