Amy Sandra Lee is an associate in the Health Care and White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement Groups. Her practice includes counseling and representing individuals and organizations faced with regulatory, compliance, arbitration, litigation, or related criminal and civil matters.
Amy's health care practice focuses primarily on litigating and arbitrating payor-provider disputes, ERISA matters, benefit claim disputes, and mental health proceedings. Her white collar and regulatory practice includes the defense against allegations of conspiracy, criminal environmental infractions, securities fraud, health care fraud and mine safety violations. Amy also represents pro bono clients, focused on providing legal services to the homeless, representation against eviction proceedings and in Social Security disability hearings.
Prior to attending law school, Amy was a Legislative Assistant for a United States Congressman, with a primary focus on Medicare, Social Security, judiciary, and food safety issues. In law school, she was a Notes and Comments Editor and member of the Maryland Law Review.
Amy is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and currently serves on the Steering Committee for the Crowell & Moring Women Attorneys' Network.
