is a trial lawyer focusing on complex business disputes in state and federal court. Ms. Guardado has broad experience in contract, business tort, real estate, healthcare, corporate and insurance law. Ms. Guardado has litigated business disputes at the trial and appellate level on a wide array of matters such as breach of contract, insurance coverage, residential mortgage servicing and foreclosure, petroleum franchise sales, and products liability. She has successfully represented pro bono clients in eviction defense and public benefits advocacy.
Ms. Guardado is a 2012 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, where she was managing editor of the Berkeley La Raza Law Journal. She also served as Finance Chair of the La Raza Law Student Association. Ms. Guardado is a magna cum laude graduate of Occidental College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Guardado is currently a member of the Leadership Development Committee of the Northern California chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL), the San Francisco Bar Association and active in the San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association, the local chapter of the National Hispanic Bar Association.
