Anderson & Anderson LLP is an international law firm established in 1885. Long established in the United States, Anderson & Anderson's lawyers began work in Asia in 1963. Said lawyers first established offices in Asia in 1972, when one of its attorneys became the first American attorney to represent foreign parties in China. Intellectual property registration and protection (including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secrets) are a significant part of the firm's work.

The firm has undertaken legal work in many hundreds of major direct foreign investment matters in Asia including drafting the first insurance joint venture contracts in China, establishing major power plant contracts and has assisted in establishing hundreds of corporations, representative offices, joint ventures and wholly owned foreign companies in Asia.

The firm has successfully provided legal consultation to well-known French, American, Swiss, Singapore, English and other banks, including divisions of the World Bank; we have served the world's largest insurance company and the world's largest soft drink company. We provided services for Mongolia's largest mining company and many foreign mining companies, and have undertaken due diligence reports for mining companies that have gone public, as well as assisting a Mongolian Bank issuing bonds by a Mongolian company for the first time on the Singapore Exchange.

For more than nine years our firm has been active in India, in associate with a distinguished Mumbai firm. We have undertaken litigation, direct foreign investment work and intellectual property registration and protection. We have also represented corporations from India who have invested in the USA, China, and elsewhere.
