Healthcare: Andie serves as litigation counsel in professional liability actions involving catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims for a major academic medical center as well as one of the largest single specialty medical groups in the Southeastern United States.
In addition, she has experience in representing public corporations in large scale internal investigations.
Mass Torts and Products Liability: Andie specializes in defending complex personal injury litigation. She served as litigation counsel defending a nursing home company in consolidated litigation involving a multi-fatality nursing home fire. Andie also has experience in a variety of products liability actions.
State and Local Tax: Andie?s practice includes state and local tax litigation. She represents clients in all facets of the tax dispute process. Andie assists clients in an effort to avoid litigation by negotiating resolutions with the Department of Revenue before and after tax assessments. If a tax dispute cannot be resolved prior to litigation, Andie uses her general litigation experience in advocating on behalf of clients for relief through the court system. She also has experience requesting letter rulings and obtaining refunds for taxes paid. |
