Andrew Cohen concentrates his practice in litigation. He represents clients in a variety of matters, including employment disputes, commercial contract disputes, and importing and exporting issues. Mr. Cohen also serves as a member of Blank Rome's E-Discovery Task Force.
While in law school, Mr. Cohen served as a senior editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
Representative Matters
· Successfully represented medical device manufacturer in prosecuting violations of non-compete agreements and theft of trade secrets and confidential information in multiple courts throughout the United States.
· Represented healthcare practice in a False Claims Act employment dispute.
· Successfully prosecuted trade secret claim and obtained injunctive and other relief against a custom software developer for improper use of financial services company's intellectual property.
· Successfully represented judgment creditors holding international arbitration awards in "turnover" actions to obtain assets held abroad at international banks with branches in the United States.
Community Service & Affiliations
Mr. Cohen served as a Blank Rome Public Interest Fellow at the Support Center for Child Advocates in the Summer of 2008, and continues to represent abused and neglected children in Philadelphia. He was named to the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania's Pro Bono Honor Roll in 2010 and 2011.
