Andrew E. Skopp represents lenders, developers, and investors involved in all aspects of real estate projects, from multi-family housing projects to healthcare facilities to mixed use commercial developments. He has considerable expertise in handling tax credit, affordable housing and community development matters. He can bring strength on behalf of any of these entities even at the very earliest stages in a transaction. Andrew has developed an understanding of a wide range of financing and tax credit documents and recognizes how they can be negotiated to reflect each clients' different needs. He is experienced in structuring transactions using funds from many different sources, including equity investors, local, state, and federal loan programs, and commercial lenders. In all cases, he assists his clients in addressing every transaction's unique issues so as to best secure their interests.
Andrew is a graduate of Swarthmore College (B.A. 1988, in both History and English Literature), and of the University of Wisconsin (J.D. 1993), where he was Editor-in-chief of Wisconsin International Law Journal and won Best Petitioner's Brief at the University of Cincinnati Law School Products Liability Moot Court Competition.
