Professional Experience: Mr. Schultz is a Director in the Albuquerque office. He served as President and Managing Director from 2004-2006. He practices in the Litigation Department and currently serves as head of the firm's Complex and Commercial Litigation practice group. Mr. Schultz has a special interest in class action and civil rights litigation, along with other complex procedural and appellate work. Mr. Schultz has significant litigation and appellate experience in both federal and state courts. From 1985-1986, he served as law clerk to Byron R. White, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. From 1984-1985, Mr. Schultz was law clerk to the Honorable Alvin B. Rubin, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He served as Lead Articles Editor of the New Mexico Law Review from 1983-1984, and graduated first in his class at the University of New Mexico Law School.
