Experience
Andy has handled construction litigation matters for owners, subcontractors, suppliers and Community Development Districts (CDDs). The matters handled include lien actions, bond claims, construction defect issues and claims for equitable adjustment of contracts. Additionally, Andy has represented design professionals including architects in class action litigation. He has also represented business clients in the formation of entities, litigation issues regarding non-competition agreements and general corporate representation and commercial litigation. Andy has lectured on construction law issues for the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Background
· Andy grew up in Tampa and attended Jesuit High School. He attended the University of South Florida on an academic scholarship and went on to receive his J.D. with Honors from Stetson University. After law school, he worked for a highway contractor and was a principal in a closely held utility construction company. He practiced in his own firm prior to joining GrayRobinson.
