Drew is a graduate of The University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill, NC, where he was a Note and Comment Editor on the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation, participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic, and served as an Honor Court Judge for the university. Drew received his B.A in Political Science, cum laude, with a minor in history, from Tufts University in 2002.
Drew joined Young Conaway in 2009 following a one-year clerkship with the Honorable Eugene R. Wedoff of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Illinois. During his clerkship, Drew worked on both consumer and large Chapter 11 bankruptcies, including United Airlines, Emerald Casino, and Neumann Homes.
Drew spent his 1L summer interning with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund in Washington, D.C.and his second summer with King & Spalding LLP's New York office. Drew also worked for two years before law school as a litigation paralegal with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York City.
