Mr. Lawrence's patent prosecutions, client counseling, and opinion work have spanned numerous areas of chemistry/chemical engineering, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, and nanotechnology.
Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Mr. Lawrence gained valuable commercialization experience with the University of Colorado's Office of Technology Transfer and Industry Outreach where he performed patentability assessments, and investigated the commercial applicability of numerous technologies.
Mr. Lawrence was awarded his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1999. In 1998, he earned his M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Colorado, where his graduate research focused on the synthesis and characterization of various phthalocyanine compounds. Mr. Lawrence graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1993 with a B.S. in Chemistry.
