ANGELA L. LUCKETT is a Partner in the firm's Energy Practice Group. Her practice involves commercial transactional work for electric-generating plants with particular emphasis on negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts in the areas of procurement of goods and services, coal and limestone.
Her practice also includes the negotiation of supply agreements for coal combustion by-products - fly ash, bottom ash, cenospheres and FGD (flue gas desulfurization) synthetic gypsum - with purchasers in the concrete products, construction, agriculture, and materials industries. In addition, she manages the contracts and related issues and disputes for ash and gypsum storage and disposal.
Angela also advises owners of hydroelectric projects on license compliance and administration, shoreline management, commercial permitting and related issues.
In addition, she has experience counseling marketing departments on a variety of issues. She is thoroughly familiar with compliance in green marketing and advertising laws and regulation for products and services, including the Federal Trade Commission's Guides for the Use of Environmental Marketing Claims ("the Green Guides").
