Background
Angela Vivolo is a partner in our Toronto office. Angela was admitted to the Bar in Ontario in 2003. She graduated from Dalhousie University Law School in 2002. Prior to that, she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from York University.
Areas of Practice
· Angela practises in the Commercial Litigation Group, with a specific focus on securities litigation, broker liability, director and officer liability, commercial fraud, banking litigation and injunctions and interlocutory remedies (including Anton Piller orders and Mareva injunctions).
Professional Experience and Publications
· Angela has attended at trials, motions, appeals, examinations for discovery and mediations. She has managed complex, large-scale litigation files and acted as plaintiff's counsel in the execution of Anton Piller Orders.
· Angela has acted on behalf of investment dealers in both civil and regulatory matters including matters before the Ontario Securities Commission and Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada.
· Co-author of the BLG Broker's Report.
