Order Market Code. In 1997-1998 Zaida Lugo Lovatón served as advisor to the Technical Secretary of the Executive Branch of the Dominican Government and Jaime Angeles was appointed by the President of the Dominican Republic as official member of the Commission that worked in the draft of the Order Market Code, that included proponed new rules for Antitrust, Unfair Competition, Industrial Property, Copyright and Consumer Protection. Actual Copyright and Industrial Property laws were approved by the National Congress from the work of that Commission.
