Angeline Nyce is an associate in the Corporate/Commercial/M&A, Aboriginal Law, Forestry, Mining and, Japan Groups at Davis LLP in Vancouver. Angeline's law practice focuses on business structuring, incorporation and corporate governance issues, commercial transactions, resource development, land use issues and Aboriginal law. She is a Registered Professional Forester who also possesses a degree in forest resources management.
Angeline advises clients on business structures, tenure acquisitions and asset transfers; buying and selling businesses; due diligence reviews; leasing; general corporate and not-for-profit matters; employment issues; aboriginal and treaty rights (including, consultation and accommodation and comprehensive and specific claims); and First Nations governance issues. She assists clients in negotiating forestry, mining, energy and other land use related agreements and advises on real and personal property issues, land tenure and, economic and community development on aboriginal (both non-treaty and treaty settlement lands) and Crown lands.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Angeline worked in the forestry and fishing industries and for public and not for profit post-secondary institutions in various capacities.
Angeline joined Davis in 2009 as an associate after articling and practising law in Greater Vancouver.
