Representative Cases
L.A. Parham v. Walgreen Co. the plaintiff, L.A. Parham, claimed that the retail pharmacy in question failed to adequately maintain the premises which caused an unreasonable dangerous condition for its customers and caused the plaintiff to suffer personal injuries. After extensive discovery, Mr. Kappas filed a motion for summary judgment arguing that Walgreen Co. was not liable since the plaintiff had failed to show the defendant had notice, actual or constructive, of the alleged condition. After oral argument before the Honorable Judge Brewer, the Court agreed with Mr. Kappas' position and granted Summary Judgment as to all counts in Walgreen Co.'s favor.
