Anna is an associate in the Tax & Trusts Group. Her practice involves a wide range of domestic and international income tax matters, commodity tax, trusts, and estate planning.
Before pursuing her tax law career in Canada, Anna practiced corporate and commercial law at a prominent law firm in Minsk, Belarus. During this time, she gained experience in commercial drafting and was exposed to various corporate transactions. These experiences have provided Anna with a unique and value-added skill set which she brings to her practice at Cassels Brock.
Anna was both a summer and articling student at the firm. While in law school, Anna was a member of the team competing at the Willem C. Vis International mooting competition in Austria, a contributor for the Law Firm Culture Guide published by the Osgoode Business Law Society, and a volunteer for the Community and Legal Aid Services Program.
Anna is fluent in Russian and Belarusian. Her hobbies include yoga, watercolor painting, cooking and travelling.
