Daley is a partner in the Minneapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where she serves as an administrator for the Litigation Department, co-chair of the firm's Antitrust and Competition Law Practice Group, and as a member of the Intellectual Property Law Department. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, federal regulatory and intellectual property law matters. Ms. Daley has experience with numerous different industries and areas of the law, and she has defended her clients' legal rights in jurisdictions across the United States.

Ms. Daley has represented clients in federal and state antitrust, consumer protection and deceptive trade practice matters, as well as nationwide class action and intellectual property litigation. She has helped clients secure high-profile verdicts and summary judgments in numerous cases. For example, in 2006, as lead counsel for Arctic Cat Inc. in patent litigation involving electronic fuel-injection technology for two-stroke cycle snowmobile engines, Ms. Daley assisted in securing summary judgment for Arctic Cat on six separate legal grounds. For that result, the Minnesota Lawyer honored Ms. Daley as an Attorney of the Year for 2006.

Ms. Daley also counsels and represents clients in dealer and distributor matters, providing legal advice to clients on dealer relations and disputes, and appearing in numerous jurisdictions to enforce her clients' rights under dealer agreements or on behalf of her clients regarding dealership issues. She also regularly represents clients before arbitration panels, state regulatory agencies, and in state attorney general investigations. Additionally, Ms. Daley has represented clients in healthcare and class-action litigation, including a recent case in which she represented Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and other health insurers in national antitrust litigation involving claims regarding patent enforceability, patent validity, and patent infringement.

Ms. Daley also has extensive experience representing clients in federal and state regulatory matters, which include Section 15 reports, recalls, remedial action plans, consent decrees, compliance monitoring, proposed rulemaking and voluntary standards, and information-education campaigns. She regularly represents her clients' legal interests before the Consumer Product Safety Commission and has worked on matters involving the Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and National Highway Transportation Safety Administration. She has more than 25 years of legal experience representing clients in the motor vehicle and power sports industry.

Ms. Daley has represented clients in a wide variety of industries including powersports, telecommunications, insurance, electronics, filtration, food and beverages, shoes, handcrafts and other home items, agricultural products, paint, cleaners, accounting, optical, restaurant and real estate.

Ms. Daley has received numerous professional distinctions over her career. In 2012, she became an Adjunct Professor, Trial Advocacy, at William Mitchell College of Law. In addition to being honored as a Minnesota Attorney of the Year 2006, Ms. Daley has been selected for inclusion in Minnesota Super Lawyers every year since 2000, and was named one of the "Top 50 Women Minnesota Super Lawyers" in 2010 and 2011, and one of the "Top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyers" in 2011. She was also listed in Best Lawyers in America in 2011. In 1997, she was named one of the Minneapolis Business Journal's "40 Under Forty" honorees. Most recently, Ms. Daley was named one of 25 "Women Industry Leaders" by the Minneapolis Business Journal, and was honored with Martindale Hubbell's AV Preeminent Rating, a distinction awarded to less than 5 percent of women lawyers.

Ms. Daley is active in a number of civic and professional organizations. She serves on the Minnesota Federal Practice Committee, the advisory board of Minnesota Women Lawyers and as a board member of the Minnesota Supreme Court Historical Society. She has also held positions with the Advisory Committee on Rules of the Board on Judicial Standards, Minnesota Judicial Selection Commission, the Board for MacPhail School of Music, and the Minnesota 4-H Foundation. Ms. Daley is also a volunteer for the Guardian Ad Litem Program for the Minnesota Judicial Branch in the Fourth District.
