Anne-Marie practises exclusively in employment law, providing advice and counsel to clients regarding hiring, discipline, the duty to accommodate, terminations, and employment standards. She drafts employment and retention agreements, independent contractor agreements, private arbitration agreements and numerous workplace policies.
Anne-Marie represents employers at all stages of employment-related litigation, arbitration and mediation involving wrongful and constructive dismissal, workplace harassment and discrimination, judicial review, breaches of restrictive covenants and fiduciary duties, and human rights. Anne-Marie also has extensive experience in advocating on behalf of management in unionized workplaces.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Anne-Marie practised at a national Canadian law firm and at a prominent boutique labour and employment firm.
