Anne Todd

Anne is banking and aircraft finance lawyer, formerly a partner in Walkers' Cayman Islands office. She has acted on a broad range of aviation, capital markets and private equity fund establishment and finance transactions as well as general corporate matters. In particular she has advised in relation to the establishment of a number of high profile portfolios for aircraft lessors and on the financing of hundreds of aircraft through the capital markets, through private asset backed finance and export credit backed finance. Anne also handles local aircraft and mortgage registration in the Cayman Islands. Anne graduated from Durham University, England with a Joint Honours degree in French and Russian before completing her legal exams. She qualified as a Solicitor in England, spending a total of eight years with Wilde Sapte and Clifford Chance (Paris and London offices and incorporating a secondment to an aircraft manufacturer in Toulouse, France) before joining Maples and Calder in London in 2000. She later moved to the Cayman Islands with Walkers where she became a partner in 2008. Anne joined Thorp Alberga in 2011.
