Anneliese V. Williams is an associate in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where she is a member of the firm's Governmental Services & Finance Department.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Ms. Williams was a summer associate in the firm's Indianapolis office. As a summer associate, she researched, drafted legal memoranda, and completed transactional projects in various departments, focusing in the governmental service and finance area.
Ms. Williams earned her B.A. in political science from Northwestern University in 2005. In 2008, Ms. Williams received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. In law school, she was an active participant in the Urban Communities Clinic, providing legal and transactional assistance to housing development corporations and small business owners in and around Detroit, Michigan. She was also a member of the Michigan Journal of Gender and the Law and served as the journal's community service coordinator for one year.
Ms. Williams is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
