Anthony A. Trask

Anthony A. Trask was born in Farmington, Maine. The son of a game warden, Tony saw much of the State before his family settled in the Augusta area. He received a B.A. in journalism from the University of Maine and then moved to Boston where he earned his J.D. at Suffolk University in 1995. Tony spent most of the following decade in Boston litigating civil matters of all kinds in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts. While there Tony wrote and lectured on construction litigation.

In 2004, Tony moved to northern Maine to practice with his brother at Currier & Trask where he spent six years doing trial and appellate work. At Rudman Winchell Tony continues to focus his practice in all areas of litigation including family, criminal, and civil matters involving personal injuries, contracts, and property disputes. A member of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the Maine State Bar Association, Tony is a recurring faculty member at the MSBA Family Law Institute and has published articles on grandparents rights and de facto parenthood.

Having enjoyed the complex legal work and cultural offerings of a cosmopolitan city and the wholesome people and serene beauty of Aroostook County, Tony has found the greater Bangor area offers the best of both worlds. When not at work Tony enjoys running, fly fishing and following the Red Sox, but there is nothing he values more than time with his son, Tyler, and twin daughters, Brooke and Paige.
