Mr. Bartell's practice focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation, including insurance coverage disputes and insurance regulatory matters. Most significantly, Mr. Bartell supervises the insurance coverage litigation of several major corporations. Policyholders have recovered several hundreds of millions of dollars in these actions thus far.
Mr. Bartell regularly appears before state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and in other states, and before the New Jersey Insurance Department. He handles all phases of litigation, including trials and appeals. He also has argued insurance regulatory issues before the New Jersey Supreme Court.
He has published and lectured on a variety of topics including insurance coverage matters and pretrial practice.
Mr. Bartell is recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer for 2008-2012 editions.
