Anthony J. McNicholas, III, a partner in the Naples and West Palm Beach offices, joined Wicker Smith in 2000.
Over the last 35 years, Mr. McNicholas has engaged in a variety of complex litigation including medical malpractice, professional liability, all aspects of hospital liability, commercial and products liability, premise liability and first party actions. He has also been actively involved in insurance company regulation, risk management and health care regulatory matters. Mr. McNicholas has been engaged as a guest lecturer and consultant to businesses and hospitals, including service as a board member. He is actively involved in community affairs serving as the current Chairman of the Board of the Quantum Foundation, a health care conversion foundation providing significant grants to promote the health, education and betterment of Palm Beach County.
Mr. McNicholas' achievements throughout his career have been recognized by his peers, earning him an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating awarded to attorneys. Mr. McNicholas earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Miami and his Juris Doctor from Florida State University. He has been actively engaged in litigation throughout the state. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and all its Federal Courts. He is a member of the Florida Bar, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Collier County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute.
